Amazon Spheres Understory Residency, Seattle, Washington
Interactive installation in which masonite squares, painted in four shades of red, green, and blue, were magnetically adhered to a board. Visitors were invited to re-arrange the squares (the “pixels”), to form their own pictures or designs on the board. A computer-driven camera photographed the evolving compositions every minute, which were compiled and edited into crowd-sourced animations and then added to the rotating display on the screen.
